Scribbles & Snips grew from a lifelong love of creativity, paper, and a head full of ideas that I needed to bring to life.

I design whimsical digital kits, both illustrations (Scribbles) and papercraft projects (Snips), for makers and story builders like you.

My story

I’ve always been drawn to making things.

It started small with simple papercraft, card making, scrapbook pages and flat designs. But that never quite felt like enough. Over time, I began pushing things further, turning those early makes into more detailed and more challenging 3D builds. One little house became a whole village… why make one thing when you can build a whole scene?

That love of building and engineering naturally grew into the Snips side of things, creating designs that aren’t just pleasing to look at, but are fun to build and made to be used and enjoyed.

Alongside that, I’ve always loved creating with other artists’ work, combining elements, experimenting, and turning pieces into something new. But everything shifted when I bought my iPad and Apple Pencil and discovered Procreate. For the first time, I could create my own artwork.

I’m not a natural at drawing, and I’m okay with that. Digital tools gave me the freedom to steady my hand, refine ideas, change things instantly and experiment without fear. I am certain I am not the only Procreate user who now taps two fingers on paper to undo something! It opened up a whole new way of creating, and Scribbles grew from there.

Storytelling has always been at the heart of it all. I grew up surrounded by stories, the kind you could disappear into completely. A love of history, castles, and imaginative worlds has always stayed with me, along with that sense of adventure, magic and possibility.

Scribbles & Snips brings all of that together, making, building and storytelling, and turns it into something I can share. A way to help you create your own scenes, your own stories… and maybe escape into them for a little while.

Beyond the crafting

I live in beautiful Northumberland UK, surrounded by history, nature and places that feel full of stories. It’s hard not to feel inspired by that. Scribbles & Snips has been something quietly building in the background for a long time, and with encouragement from my wonderful family and friends, it finally felt like the right moment to bring it to life. You might also spot my cats appearing from time to time. Meriadoc, Florence and Maverick have all found their way into my work in one way or another, whether I planned it or not!

To me, this adventure isn’t about building a huge business or chasing perfection. It’s about creating something I’m proud of, and sharing it with others who enjoy making as much as I do. If something I’ve made inspires you to create, build or get a little lost in your own ideas, then that means everything.
